Fredy Felix
Fredy is 47 years old. He lives in the town of Cañete, in the district of Imperial, with his wife and their four children, whom they love very dearly and who are his main reason for living. He is a very nice, hard-working, and enthusiastic person, who, together with his spouse, spares no efforts to improve his family's lot in life. Unfortunately, due to his economic situation and the need to start working at a very young age to help his parents, Fredy was unable to study and learn a profession, which is what he would have liked to do. In his spare time, he cooks a delicious spicy pork-and-potatoes dish called 'carapulcra con sopa seca' to share with his family. Following his parents' teachings, sparing no efforts, and with admirable dedication, Fredy works as a farmer: he has a few cows, which he feeds and cares for in order to sell milk to various customers. He works every day for about ten hours, likes his work very much and attributes his success to his experience and his amiability towards other people. Fredy is very grateful to Kiva lenders, since, thanks to their help, he will be able to improve his house, which is built out of rush matting. He wants to reinforce it and cover the roof with wooden planks, Guayaquil cane, plastics, and other materials before winter. He will keep working towards his great dream of granting his family safety and a better standard of living.
