Francess S. is a 24-year-old woman who lives with her three children in West Point, one of the most populated and well known markets in Montserrado county. She did not attend school and she is single. Her children's ages are 6, 9 and 11, and they are in school.
For the past five years she has been selling slippers and teddy bears from a table in the local market. Sometimes business goes slowly, but most of the time she realizes a profit and she uses it to sustain her family.
She is requesting a loan to purchase more slippers and teddy bears to increase her sales. She hopes to build a house in the near future.
