Dina is 48 years old, married, with four children. She lives in Aurora, Zamboanga Del Sur.
To earn a living, Dina owns and operates a crab-vending business. She has been in her business for over eight years and earns PHP 15,000 every month.
She joined Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) in 2008 and now she has requested a loan of PHP 20,000 to purchase crabbing materials, such as nets and containers.
In the future, Dina wants to make improvements to her house and to improve the general living conditions of her family.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
