Ramatu is 35 years old and married with four children, ages five and 16. She runs a cookery business in Port Loko in the northern part of Sierra Leone.
She's been in this business for three years and sells cooked rice. She says that her business is doing well because out of the proceeds, she is able to feed her children.
She requested this loan through BRAC Sierra Leone to buy rice, palm oil dry fish and cooking seasoning. She says that the extra income from this loan will help her to buy a table and increase her business. In the future, she would like to open a permanent business location to operate her business. She is grateful for your support.
