Youssef is a Lebanese married man. He’s 47 years old. He’s married to Khadija, the mother of his three school-aged children. Cooperating together, Youssef and his wife were able to cover their heavy expenses in order to live a respectable life. He started his business in 2007. He owns a car assistance service. His job consists of transporting cars to the garage in the case of damages. He’s punctual and has customers from all over the neighboring areas. Today, he’s asking for a loan from Kiva partner Vitas s.a.l to purchase new wheels for his vehicle and perform the needed maintenance on it in order to respond rapidly to his clients’ problems. He believes that acting properly is really essential to attract more and added customers. In the future, he plans to collect a fair amount of money and better develop his family’s way of living.
Due to political and social challenges in Lebanon, personally identifiable attributes entrepreneurs may have been altered to protect their privacy (i.e., blurring portions of the borrower's picture, not indicating a name and location, etc.). Vitas appreciates Kiva lenders' understanding of these challenges and encourages them to continue their support for Lebanon's borrowers.
