This is 40-year-old Mariatu from Waterloo eastern area in Freetown. She is married with 5 children.
Mariatu runs a food stand business where she sells onions, cooking oil, palm oil and cooking seasonings. She has been running this business since 2000. She works at the business 12 hours per day, 7 days per week. She says that the main challenge to her business is lack of sufficient capital to operate her business.
Mariatu has requested a loan in order to buy more onions, cooking oil, palm oil and cooking seasonings. The extra income from this loan will allow her to increase her business and be responsible for the daily meal. In the future, she plans to open a big table. She appreciates your support.
