Sichan
Mrs. Sichan S. is a villager in Sre Cheng Village in Kampong Speu Province. She is employed in a garment factory. Her husband, Mr. Sarith Chea, is a taxi driver who can generate a little income to meet the economic needs of the family. They have five children, three of whom are employed in different business activities, while the remaining two are enrolled in school.

Last year, Mrs. Sichan S. got a fainting spell, which made her unconscious. Her husband spent $150 to get her cured. For this reason, Mrs. Sichan S. does not have enough money to buy a piece of land to sell later at a better price. Thus, she decided to ask for a loan for this purpose. Mrs. Sichan S. and her husband are shown in the photo.
