Marie Paule
Marie Paule is a 56-year-old woman who is married and the mother of 3 children aged between 11 and 32. She is a merchant and has been selling seasonal products (oil, smoked fish, pistachios) to retail customers at a local market for 8 years. She knows the suppliers well and knows her customer base, built up over time thanks to her experience in her line of work, especially well. However, she faces constant stock shortages because, due to her limited capital, she is forced to sell off her stock before she is able to replenish it. She would like to increase her inventory of oil and smoked fish so that she has a well-stocked inventory which would enable her to better satisfy the constant demand of her clientèle and to avoid stock shortages. She will save up her profits so that she can not only expand her business, but also provide for her family's needs.
