Radisa is 38 years old, married, and has two children. She lives in Clarin, Misamis Occidental.
Radisa owns and operates an agriculture business that involves planting and harvesting vegetables to sell. She has been in this business for over four years, earning around 7,000 PHP every month.
Radia joined GDMPC in 2010, and is now requesting a loan of 9,500 PHP to purchase fertilizer, such as manure, for her business. She plans to use the additional revenue generated from her business to improve the general living conditions of her family.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
