Sophea is 38 years old. She is married and resides with three children in Kampong Speu Province, Cambodia. She has been running a dress store for more than ten years, earning approximately $7 daily. Her husband is a motor taxi driver who makes an income of $3 each day. In order to improve her family’s finances, Sophea applied for a loan of $1,000 to buy more dresses for resale. By doing so, she would generate more profits to support the family financially. In the future, she would like to expand her store and help her children earn bachelor’s degrees.
