Mariama is 42 years old, married, has no children of her own but cares for four dependents. In 2007, she went into the business of selling food and drinks. She was raised as a businesswoman and today runs her store in the outskirts of her town. Her main customers are people who live in the area and passersby. She works every day of the week for 10 hours a day and earns about Le 1,000,000 a month. She is requesting a loan for Le 5,000,000 to buy more items to sell. In the future, she plans to expand her business to new locations and to build a house. She thanks Kiva lenders for their support.
