Salomón, who is 55, is married with five children. He has been selling seafood for around 30 years, having learned his trade with family members and friends. He buys his seafood like crabs, fish, punche [a type of crab] and shrimp, from friends and family members on the beach who spend the day fishing. When they dock their boats they sell their product to Salomon who then sells the seafood to different communities.
He is applying to Fundación Campo for this loan to buy larger quantities of seafood, as winter is approaching and the amount of seafood is rising. He is convinced that the loan will enable him to meet all his orders and satisfy all his customers' needs. He intends to use his earnings to repair his home because it is in poor condition.
