Mishi is a married mother of three children, two of whom attend school. She owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food for the family.
For the past four years, she has operated a fish selling business, selling at the market to her neighbors and passersby. She faces the major challenge of seasonality in her business. Her goal is to establish a restaurant business in the near future.
With the Kshs 20,000 she wants to purchase a stock of fish for resale. She decided to join Yehu because of the variety of loan products available for clientele.
