Sophea is 39 years old. She is married and resides with her husband in Kamong Speu Province, Cambodia. She has been selling porridge and Khmer noodle for more than three years, earning approximately $5 daily. Her husband helps her run the business.
In order to improve her family’s finances, Sophea is requesting a loan of $1,500 to purchase piglets to raise and resell when they gain weight. This loan will help her acquire the ability to start this new business and generate more income for the family. In the future, she would like to expand the business and build a new house if possible.
