A father of four children, Ren is 64-years-old and a farmer from Sa Ang district of Kandal province. He grows beans on one hectare and half area to support his family. He has been with VisionFund (Kiva’s partner) for the past three cycles, and feels confident that he can maintain a good standard of living for his family. Now, he is seeking a fourth loan to buy fertilize, potash, and seeds for his crops. He hopes that he can gain double yield and make more profit for his family.

Kiva lenders’ funds will help the organization to expand into the northeastern provinces of the country, which have historically been underserved and difficult to reach with financial services.
