Carmen, de 23 años, es soltera y no tiene hijos, vive en la casa de su madre. Carmen se dedica a la venta de golosinas. Diariamente instala una mesa amplia en el que coloca todo tipo de golosinas como chocolates, galletas, caramelos, chicles y distintos bocaditos. Su puesto está ubicado en la puerta de un jardín de niños cerca de su casa y afortunadamente siempre tiene buenas ventas. Renueva sus productos de manera semanal llegando a invertir hasta 300 soles en cada compra. Lleva en esta actividad más de 3 años y en algunas ocasiones recibe la ayuda de su madre. Eventualmente vende frutas y refrescos dependiendo del clima y del capital económico que tenga . Lo que le gusta de su actividad es que puede tener un ingreso económico que ella misma genera ,el cual le permite solventar sus necesidades y colaborar con algunos gastos del hogar.
