Ayisa is married with one child who attends school. She has had a beauty salon business for six years. She has applied for a loan of 1,000,000 UGX from MCDT SACCO to buy more boxes of cream relaxers, weaves, braids and hair oils. She doesn’t have any other income-generating activity. She works in a rented shop six days out of every week. Her major business challenges includes paying high taxes and 'on and off' electricity. She aspires to own a bridal salon and also to get enough profits so as to build her own house. She resides in a rented house and the family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include rent and utility bills.
