Kadziche is a married woman and has six children, all of whom attend school. She owns a house that has neither electricity nor piped water.
Kadziche operates a goat meat business, buying and fattening them for resale to butchers. She faces a challenge of inadequate capital to expand her business. She dreams of establishing a wholesale shop in the future.
With the KES 30,000 she wants to purchase five goats for meat sale. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
