Agnes lives in Kampala, Uganda. She is a single mother of three children, and all her children go to school. She has no additional family members. She sells secondhand clothes at the market. She operates her business on a retail basis. She has been in this business for the last 8 years. She works six days a week.
She has requested a loan of Uganda shillings 300,000 from MCDT – SACCO to buy more bales of secondhand clothes. Her major business challenge is transportation. Her goals and aspirations are to become a wholesaler and also to buy a plot of land. She lives in a rented house and the family has access to electricity and piped water. Her monthly expenses include medication, school fees, rent and food.
