Regina is a thirty-seven-year-old married woman who has three children aged between four and twelve years old. She has been operating a cereals shop for seven years. She plans to use the loan to buy more cereals such as beans and maize for resale. Her shop is located in a busy area, and her customers are the local residents. She faces a challenge of insufficient funds and hopes to use the anticipated profits to open more cereals outlets.
This is her second loan with SMEP DTM; she repaid her first loan of 20,000 Kenyan shillings (KES) successfully. Regina is tolerant and hopes that in five years time she will have a wholesale outlet.
