La cliente Maregane est trésorière du groupement d’affaire Salama, jeune entrepreneur, âgée de 27 ans, mariée et mère de 5 enfants. Son conjoint est un petit commerçant de divers. La cliente est vendeuse de Boissons sucrées. Elle commença cette affaire avec son fonds propre reçu de son mari. Plus tard, elle bénéficia des fonds additionnels de crédit de l’IMF Hekima. Il ya environs 10 ans, elle exerce cette activité. Ce nouveau prêt va lui servir d’acheter 10 casiers de Fanta, Coca colla, vital ‘ô, etc. à marchander. Les casses de bouteilles, carences de marchandises, sont de défis majeurs pour son activité. Lors de carence de produits, elles sont parfois obligées d’aller s’approvisionner au Rwanda, dans le pays voisin. Elle souhaite accroitre son capital, scolariser ses enfants. Au finish, elle remercie fortement Hekima pour son soutien en microcrédit.

HEKIMA is a microfinance institution headquartered in Goma, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), with branch offices in Goma and Bukavu. HEKIMA aims to contribute to the transformation of the economic, social, and spiritual lives of the economically active poor of the DRC. To this end, HEKIMA provides its clients with solidarity group loans to support income-generating activities. Despite ongoing instability and violence in its operating areas, HEKIMA continues to keep its doors open and provide credit and savings services for its over 90% female clientele.
