Joseph is a 45-year-old married man with eight children living in Kyenjojo, Uganda. He grows maize and Irish potatoes. He has been in farming for eight years. With his salary savings as a teacher, he decided to buy land for farming and the business is profitable.
Like all good fathers, he desires to educate his children up to the university level. Unpredictable weather changes and price fluctuations are his major challenges. His dream is to become a model farmer in the area. Joseph intends to use the loan to pay school fees for his children.
