Esha is a married woman with two school-going children, who are the reason for her hard work. She lives in a rental house that has electricity but no piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food for the family. For the past three years, she has operated a business selling charcoal at the market to her neighbors and passersby. She faces the challenge of price fluctuations in her business. Esha dreams of expanding her business to a wholesale in the future.
With this 10,000 Kenyan shilling loan, she wants to purchase eight sacks of charcoal for resale. She decided to join Yehu to access loans to boost her business.
