The group consists of 17 women who work and function in an environment of companionship, harmony, respect and solidarity. They value the help and service of Kiva partner Fundación Paraguaya in supporting their causes. They are women who work to help their households make headway and improve the quality of life for their children and all their family members.


The group members dedicate themselves to selling food, coal, cleaning supplies, crafts, etc. The loans they are requesting will be used to purchase the items they sell (sugar, yerba, thread, cleaning supplies, coal, etc.).

Fundación Paraguaya is a financially self-sustaining social enterprise that promotes entrepreneurship in urban and rural areas through microfinance, education programs, and more. Its focus on agriculture has helped many farmers boost their crop yields.
