Don Jose, tiene 62 años de edad, es casado, tiene 4 hijos y vive en una aldea que pertenece al municipio de Intibucá. El tiene mas de 20 años de dedicarse al cultivo de café, produce café en Oro y lo vende al mercado local. Su finca la ha mantenido mediante la inversión de varios préstamos. Actualmente solicita un préstamo por 25,000 lempiras, siendo este el sexto ciclo con ODEF y le ha ayudado mucho a mejorar el cultivo. Con esta otra inversión va fertilizar de nuevo el cultivo y le dará mantenimiento para seguir sacando buena producción. Su meta es aprender nuevas técnicas de cultivo de café para generar más ingresos y poder ayudar a sus hijos con la educación.
