Janepher is a single mother with two children. She deals in both agriculture and petty trading. She has undergone a hard life of raising her two children single-handedly with the meager income she earns from her businesses. However, she affirms that her hard work and being a social member in the community has enabled her to survive as a mother and a businesswoman. One of her children will be five years old next year, which will require her to look for tuition which may affect her future business capital. She has now applied for an early loan of 500,000 UGX to mulch her banana plantation and restock her business in preparation for her child’s education next year.
