Gladys
Gladys, who is 22 and comes from the city of Villarrica, has an eight-month-old daughter. Her partner, Torivio, travels around selling a wide range of goods. The two of them help each other with the household chores as they are both responsible for supporting their new family. Gladys worked tremendously hard to set up her own business (a grocery shop) in her home whilst her partner goes round in his car selling his goods to businesses. Gladys has a large and varied clientele because she offers very good service and sells plastic items, sweets and many other things. The loan she is applying for will be used to stock her shop with basic necessities, such as foodstuffs, soft and fizzy drinks amongst other things, and will enable her to continue with what she has been doing so far.
