María tiene 30 años de edad, tiene un hijo. Ella se dedica a la agricultura desde su niñez; lo aprendió de sus padres quienes fueron los pioneros en enseñar a sus hijos a trabajar para llevar el sustento a su familia. Hoy en día manifiesta que con su trabajo se puede defender económicamente, ya que también esta cultivando hortalizas y desea ampliar el área de cultivo.

Los insumos agrícolas, así como el alimento para su familia los adquiere en una ciudad que esta a treinta y cinco minutos de su casa, es decir a dos horas y media en autobús; el transporte es bien escaso y debe esperar mucho tiempo para efectuar el viaje.

El préstamo que esta solicitando a Fundación Campo, es para comprar dos bolsas de semilla de maíz, 16 quintales de abono y para pago de mano de obra. Con la inversión se ahorra varios viajes a la ciudad, lo que le permitirá ahorrar; para ahorrar y brindarle el estudio a su hijo para que sea un profesional y ampliar al mismo tiempo su producción de hortalizas.
