Mariela
View original language description ↓
Mariela T. is 28 and has been married to her husband, Luis Alberto, for eight months. They don’t have children yet, but Mariela says she wants to have a girl and a boy.

Mariela is a native of Espartillar, in the city of Carapegua. Her father was a cattle farmer who was very well-known in the area. In 2003, he started a small store for her downtown, but six months later he died in an accident. Mariela had to close the store since she is an only child and was left to care for his property (animals and land). She sold some of it to be able to reopen her business, which has been running now for two months, located in the same building as before, but in a different area. Her store is much larger now and she also sells appliances and motorbikes. Thanks to all of her efforts and hard work, Mariela is able to support her mother, covering living expenses that wouldn’t be paid without Mariela’s income.

Mariela is now seeking a loan in order to purchase additional merchandise, such as applicances and motorbikes.
