For eight years Hadjah has been selling charcoal, and generates additional income from rental houses. She works seven days a week and sells on a retail basis only. Her major business challenges include transportation and seasonality. She has applied for a loan of 2,000,000/= to buy more bags of charcoal.
Hadjah aspires to own a delivery van to ease transportation difficulties and also hopes to educate her children up to university level.
