Felister, a 29-year-old married mother of one child, aged four years, has a retail shop business in Nairobi's Eastlands area. She sells flour, sugar, cooking fat and cereals among other items. She has been in this business for the past five years and it has been profitable.
This being her second loan term from KADET Ltd., she plans to use the loan amount to buy more stock of goods to sell in her business. These include flour, rice, sugar, cooking fat and detergents. She hopes to generate more profits that she will use to pay school fees for her child.
Felister hopes to expand her business by opening another retail shop to make more income and be able to provide for the needs of her family.
