Since 2000, Akbar has been running a general store, and this store is the only source of income for the family. Presently he is in need of purchasing a variety of products for the store that include rice, flour, milk packs, eggs, soaps, tea packs, shampoos, sugar, etc. To purchase those he has requested a loan amount of 120,000 PKR from Kiva's partner, BRAC Pakistan. Hopefully this loan will be a productive one for his family.
