Juliet is 35 years old, married to Samson and they have six children, all of whom attend school. She owns a house that neither has electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food for the family.
For the past two years, she has sold coconuts. She has been selling wholesale to local customers. She faces a major challenge with the high cost of transportation. Juliet dreams of establishing a vegetable stall in the future.
With the KES 15,000 she wants to purchase sacks of coconuts.

About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
