Juliana is 34 years old, married and has been blessed with four children. She owns a house that neither has electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expense is food for the family.
For the past the 6 months she has operated a vegetable kiosk, selling green vegetables, tomatoes and potatoes. She sells primarily to her local neighbors. Juliana dreams of expanding and establishing a shop in the future.
With the KES 40,000 she wants to purchase sacks of cabbages, onions, potatoes and tomatoes.

About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
