Mary has operated a water vending business, selling from home to her neighbors and passers-by. She faces a major challenge of seasonality in her business. Her dream is to have a large amount of water storage in the near future.
With the 50,000 KES loan, she wants to purchase a water tank for storing water for resale. She decided to join Yehu to access loans in order to boost her business.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
