Lien was born in 1966. She has two children. Her son is a student at the university. Her daughter is a worker. Her husband is a construction worker and earns about 4,000,000 VND per month. Lien raises chickens and grows rice to earn a living. Her income is about 5,000,000 VND per month. She has done this job for 26 years. Her family’s total earnings are about 9,000,000 VND per month.
Lien has participated in SEDA's credit program since 2012. In the last cycle she borrowed 5,014,000 VND and repaid the loan on time. In this loan cycle, she would like to borrow 6,322,000 VND to buy food for her chickens. She wants to use her profit to buy more baby chickens to raise.
