Katarine is from Krashen village of Shirak region. She keeps livestock which currently includes three cows, 20 lambs and 20 chickens. Katarine also cultivates wheat and potatoes and sells the gathered harvest in the local market.
Together with her husband, Katarine works hard to sustain their family of three: Katarine, her husband, and 24-year-old daughter. The family's only income comes from selling agricultural products in the local market. So, in order to enlarge her farming activity, Katarine has applied for this loan.
With the loan's help, she will purchase forage for feeding the livestock and seeds and fertilizer for cultivation. The loan will help to cover farming costs and she will get an opportunity to expand her farm.
Katarine and her husband are very hard-working and their dream is to have a big farm and appropriate living conditions.
