Fatu is 42 and married. She lives in Magibi county, the largest producing rubber plantation in Liberia, with her husband and children. Her children range in age from 3 to 27; they are all in school.
She has been selling rubber dishes in the market for ten years. Fatu started this business with money given to her by her husband, and learned this way of selling from her mother. Her key challenge is the rainy season.
Fatu is requesting a loan to purchase more rubber dishes (plates, cups, bowls) for her business.
She plans to build a house, and educate her children.
