Asha is married with three school-going children. She owns a house that neither has electricity nor piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and her children's school fees.
Asha has operated a fish-selling business at the market for the past five years. She sells fish to her town dwellers and neighbors. She faces a major challenge from the high cost of purchasing fish, especially when cold currents affect the deep sea.
Asha is requesting a loan to purchase bundles of fish, cooking oil and firewood for her business. She decided to join Yehu to access loans at a lower cost to improve her business.
