Mwanaisha is a married woman with nine children, all of whom still attend school and are still under her care. They live at their own house that has neither electricity nor piped water. Mwanaisha's greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees.
Mwanaisha operates a clothes-selling business, where she sells clothes at the market to her town dwellers and her neighbours. She cites her major challenge to be the rate of stock turnover, which is affected by seasons.
With the loan she is requesting, Mwanaisha wants to purchase one bale of clothes for resale. She decided to join Yehu to access loans in order to boost her business.
