Margaret is married and together with her husband they have two children. This couple always strives to give their children a good education and to insure that their needs are met.
Margaret has been working for the last 7 years braking up and selling charcoal. She buys the product in various cities in the interior of the country and sells it broken up in various sized bags.
She requests this loan to buy larger amounts of charcoal so that she can acquire it at a better price and earn higher profits to continue helping her family.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
