Sun H., age 42, is a farmer and lives with her husband. Living in Phnom Penh, she typically earns around $3 each day. Her husband, Mom Van, age 41, is a motor taxi driver. He normally makes about $4 per day. This couple has two children. Mrs. Sun needs to grow more crops to make more money to support the family. A farmer's life is not easy; the family works hard but earns little.
Mrs. Sun now wants a loan from Kiva to purchase good seed, and the remaining will be used to buy more land for farming. (Mrs. Sun and her husband is pictured at home.)
