Febronia is a married woman with one child aged eight years. She owns a house that has electricity but not piped water. Her greatest monthly expenses are food and school fees.
For the past year, she has operated a clothes business, selling clothes for both men and women. She cites stiff competition as her major challenge in the business.
Febronia is requesting for Kshs 30,000 to purchase bales of clothes for resale. She dreams of expanding to a wholesale shop in the near future.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
