Merlyn is a 45 year old married woman from Carlos P. Garcia, Bohol. She has 4 children. The youngest child is 8 while the oldest is 21. She is engaged in the fishing business. Her husband is the one who catches the fish while Merlyn sells them to nearby towns. She and her husband have been doing this for more than 10 years. She requested a loan of PHP 12,000 to buy fish nets, epoxy (water based acrylic epoxy paint) and paint. In the future, Merlyn would like to expand her business to support her family at the same time be able to send her children to school.
