Luisa Isabel
Luisa is 40 years old but has the happiness and charisma of a 20 year old. She lives in the city of Ica, which is warm and has beautiful tourist attractions. Luisa has overcome a lot of adversity but in spite of that, she has continued forward. Due to her lack of financial resources, she was only able to attend school through the fifth year of secondary school, but she would have liked to study at the university to become a teacher.

From an early age, she learned to earn her bread with her own sweat. After a lot of effort and savings, she succeeded in starting her own business selling snacks and soft drinks. She works around 9 hours a day and also sometimes works cleaning homes in a residential area of her city to earn extra money. She believes that she is getting ahead because she is responsible and eager to improve.

Luisa is very grateful to the Kiva lenders since thanks to their help, she will be able to purchase more snacks such as chocolates, corn snacks, cookies, sodas, and other items. This will allow her to have a larger variety of products which will improve her income. This will help her continue working towards making her biggest dream come true: having her own home.
