Greetings from Sierra Leone. This is 38-year-old Kadiatu from Tombo, Western Area Rural District near Freetown. She is divorced, with three children between the ages of 3 and 10 years. Two of her children attend school. She started this business to take care of her family and to give her children a quality education.
Kadiatu runs a cookery business at Tombo Market; she has been running this business since 2009. She works at the business 7 days a week: she starts at 4:30 am and doesn't rest until the food is finished. Her sister usually helps her run her business. At present she is facing difficulties with price inflation of foodstuffs.
Kadiatu has requested a loan in order to buy a wider variety of foodstuffs like rice and cooking seasoning. The extra income from this loan will allow her to pay her installment and educate her children. In the future, she plans to expand her business to a restaurant. She thanks you for your support!
