Yann is 44 years old. She is married and resides with three children in Takeo province, Cambodia. She has been selling food for more than four years, earning approximately $7 daily. Her husband runs a motor repair shop; he earns about $5 each day. Two of her children are blacksmiths, and they make about $14 per day.
In order to improve her family’s livelihood, Yann requests a loan of $1,000 to purchase grocery items to sell. By doing so, she would be able to generate additional income for the family.
In the future she would like to expand the business, and help her youngest child earn a bachelor’s degree.
