Eva is from Bonifacio, Misamis Occidental. She helps her family, by running a barber shop business. She’s a 49-year-old, married mom of three kids, who tries her best to earn income on her own. For 10 years, she has managed this business and earns about 8,000 PHP (Philippine pesos) per month.
For the time being, she’s in need of buying scissors, combs and other tools and supplies to use in her business. She joined GDMPC in 2011 and thanks GDMPC microfinance for the loan of 10,000 PHP they have provided to her. Eva desires to improve her business in the future.
Gata Daku Multi-Purpose Cooperative (GDMPC) was founded in 1992 by 32 farmer-members to empower people by providing livelihood opportunities and other support services. Today, it has over 15,000 members located in upland, lowland and coastal regions of the Philippines, and offers credit, savings, education, and various social services.
