Yah is 46 years old, married, and has six children. She lives in Montserrado County, which is the largest commercial county in Liberia. She has been selling rice, oil, plantains, peanuts, and bananas for the past 15 years. She started this business with money given to her by her husband and she learned the business from her aunt.
Yah is requesting a loan, which she will use to purchase more rice, oil, plantains, peanuts, and bananas for her business. Her favorite part about her business is that it gives her more profit. In the near future, she hopes to build a house for her children.
