Juma, a 35-year-old married father of four, owns a house which has no electricity or water. To meet the daily needs of his family, Juma sells coconuts at his nearby market. He is now requesting a loan of kshs 20000 to buy more coconuts to sell and to expand his business so that he can improve his family's standard of living.
About Yehu Microfinance Trust
This loan is administered by Yehu Microfinance Trust, which was founded in 1998 as a project of CHOICE Humanitarian Kenya. In July 2007, Yehu became a separate entity from CHOICE and was registered as a trust. Since then, Yehu has expanded to cover over half of Kenya’s 13 coastal districts.
